Good Morning! For those of you that don’t know, I have four kids. I typically write their note a paper towel or napkin the kiddos use during lunch. The only exception being the oldest. I send his via text as he is now a sophomore in college! I try to choose quotes that somehow speak into what they are going through. If there is nothing in particular going on in their life, I just go with something good for mindset, sometimes funny or something cool. You can see the original post here. Here are your lunch box quotes for the day:
-
- “Waste no more time arguing what a good man should be. Be one.” – Marcus Aurelius
- “Acta non verba.” – “Action not words.” – Various philosophical traditions
- “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” – Isaiah 41:10
- “Do not allow yourself to be misled by the surfaces of things.” – Rene K. Wilhelm
