One of the cool things about parenting is watching them grow and develop their personalities, their quirks. We have 4 children and I think they are all opposites. Same house, same parenting, but completely different. Even when it comes to packing their lunches. The youngest, makes her lunch for tomorrow as soon as she gets home from school the day prior. Number 3 gets up a little earlier to make hers. Number 2…after 3 makes sure he is awake, he’s her ride to school, he does everything else first, throws something together, then scrambles to get out the door. Not sure how number 1 manages these days, he’s on his own and while loosing weight walking back and forth to school, (he has to go up a mountain coming back from class) has managed to survive without a meal plan at school and no day to day help from us so I take that as success? There are other ways to get calories I suppose. Today’s lunch box notes and quotes:
