Baseball. Not sure what it is about the game, but I can’t quit it. Just win one more today. Wednesday nights are always crazy in our house. The kids didn’t get home until after 8:30, so we had to help them with their lunches. They do a lot, so I am glad to do it.
As a reminder, I think it was last year, maybe the year prior, that we started making lunches for the kids every day. Mom started it, and she put a sweet note in their lunch box. When I got home from a work trip, I took over lunch-making duties, and the kids or mom asked if I put a note in their lunch. Initially, I did not, and I knew I was not good at writing sweet notes, so I began looking up quotes. This year, for the most part, the kids have made their own lunches, so I began posting them here.

3. “Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.” – Rumi
4. “When you are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.” – Viktor Frankl
