Sometimes, writing these short personal introductions is super easy; we almost always have something going on. Today, not so much, just the normal everyday grind. Although number 4 did make lunch for 2 and 3 last night. The unexpected happiness that created for 3 was really cool to see. It’s the little things, small acts of kindness.
As a reminder, these are the quotes I put in the kids’ lunch box every day. The oldest gets a text. Since they are making their own lunches (or number 4 is making them), I have time to post these every morning.
Quotes:
1. “To be successful at anything, you don’t have to be special. You just have to be what most people aren’t: consistent, determined, and willing to work for it. No shortcuts.” – Tom Brady
2. “Energy and persistence conquer all things.” — Benjamin Franklin
3. “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts.” — Winston Churchill
4. “Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.” — Confucius
