Lunch Box Quotes

Lunch Box Quotes

18 innings! I don’t think I have ever been so happy for a rainstorm. When it rains, my antenna doesn’t pick up Fox very well, so I didn’t watch the World Series last night. If the Cubs were playing, I would be dead this morning. Instead, I checked the score on my phone and went to bed in the 10th inning. On another note, I upgraded the website to try and make it faster. I don’t know if it worked. Ever since I added the sidebar Recommended Reading and Podcast lists that automatically load, the site has been brutally slow. Need to try something else.

What is this? A couple of weeks ago, while sending 2 and 3 out the door, Number 2 asked why I haven’t been writing notes to put in their lunches this year. Last year, on the days I’m not traveling for work, I got up early, made the kids their lunches, and put a note in each one’s lunch box. Their mom started it. She would write something sweet…mom-type stuff. That is not really my thing, so I would look for cool quotes that seemed to fit the day or something they were going through. For 2, 3, and 4, it’s a note on a napkin. For Number 1, it’s a text.

Quotes:

2.  “Don’t run away from challenges, run over them.” – Enzo Ferrari or Jean-Claude Van Damme

3. “Society in every state is a blessing, but government, even in its best state, is a necessary evil.” – Thomas Paine, Common Sense

4. “It’s traveling!” – Bandit
