I don’t know why the kids are surprised when we can help with math homework. Sometimes I think they don’t really believe us when we say that we had homework too.
As a reminder, Lunch Box Quotes are notes I include in the kids’ lunches every day. Number 1 gets a text, but 2-4 get a handwritten napkin. Now, since they pack their own lunches, I write about them here.
Quotes:
1. “The river doesn’t resent its twists; it knows each curve is part of its path to the sea.” – Royce Dylan Thompson
2. “When a man is kind to dumb animals, I always say he got some good in him.” – Owen Wister, The Virginian
3. “I am not afraid of storms for I am learning how to sail my ship.” – Louisa May Alcott
4. “A girl who avoids suffering is a slave to comfort.” – Mitchel Eason
Bonus quote: “Don’t focus on not sinning. Focus on growing closer to God, and the desire to sin will fade away.” – Psalm 37:4
