The wife and I are doing split team operations this weekend. She is going to Number 3’s final lacrosse tournament of the fall season, and I am leading a church cleanup project at the High School. Things should be slowing down a little, minus the whole holiday season. This year, it looks like Tennessee at Thanksgiving and Iowa/Tennessee for Christmas. Gonna have to change the oil in ol’ truck!
As a reminder, Lunch Box Quotes are notes I include in the kids’ lunches every day. Number 1 gets a text, but 2-4 get a handwritten napkin. Now, since they pack their own lunches, I also write about them here.
Quotes:
1. “Thinking is difficult; that is why most people judge.” – Carl Jung
2. “He rode outside the law, but not outside of right.” – Henry Herbert Knibbs (1914)
3. “A warrior’s greatest weapon is patience.” – Miyamoto
4. “Sadness gives depth. Happiness gives height. Sadness gives roots. Happiness gives branches.” – Osho
Bonus quote: “A lie doesn’t become truth, wrong doesn’t become right, and evil doesn’t become good just because it is accepted by the majority.” – Booker T. Washington
