Not to get too personal, but I should probably explain the Raw Milk experiment a little. Basically, I am not quite 50, have been experiencing some not-so-serious GI issues that I treat with daily over-the-counter stuff. I don’t think it should be that way, and believe that my gut health could be improved through diet, and hope raw milk can be the fix. The plan is to have 1 glass a day for a month and see what happens. I know the results are going to be a bit subjective, but if I feel better after a month, I will consider it a success. I highly recommend giving the book The Germ in the Dairy Pale a read or listen if you are into audiobooks. If for nothing else, it is a compelling story about how industrialization destroyed a once perfectly normal and safe food. Five out of five stars, highly recommend.
On a lighter note, one of the kids (I will leave the description as such to provide them a veneer of deniability) was talking about being tired from staying up late reading their book. They were saying the book was so good, they were laughing and giggling…so good their toes were curling until they got a foot cramp and couldn’t go to sleep!
Lunch Box Quotes are notes I include in the kids’ lunches every day. Number 1 gets a text, but 2-4 get a handwritten napkin. Now, since they pack their own lunches, I also write about them here.
