Lunch Box Quotes

Lunch Box Quotes

Children are like chickens; you can open the door to the coop, but one always roosts in the trees. I just made that up. Chickens are interesting animals, and for the most part, if they get out of the chicken shed, all you have to do is open the door. Then, just before it gets dark, all of them go back in on their own. But there is always one that makes you climb the trees to go after them. So children really are like chickens.

As a reminder, Lunch Box Quotes are notes I include in the kids’ lunches every day. Number 1 gets a text, but 2-4 get a handwritten napkin.
