Lunch Box Quotes

Lunch Box Quotes

I mentioned in a previous post that we had a chance to go skiing as a family this weekend, and it was pretty awesome. I had not been skiing in over 25 years, so there was some rust that needed to be knocked off for sure. If I am being honest, I was never really that good at skiing. Making it down the hill with all of my equipment was a victory. But if there was one thing I had, it was a reckless disregard for my own (or others’) safety on the slopes. Unfortunately, I have no video or even photographic evidence of our shenanigans. Last night, Number 1 sent a video of his own adventures, and I think this is very close to what I would have looked like on the hill back in the day. I think he was only mildly concussed.

As a reminder, Lunch Box Quotes are notes I include in the kids’ lunches every day. Number 1 gets a text, but 2-4 get handwritten napkins.

2. “Do not think that I have come to bring peace upon the earth. I have come to bring not peace but the sword.” – Matthew 10:34
