Lunch Box Quotes

Lunch Box Quotes

Normally, I don’t think much about the passing of famous folks. I don’t really run in those circles, so I guess it should be expected. But with the passing of Robert Duvall, I am reminded of a time when I was a child. My timeline might be a little off here, but I remember getting a VCR not too long before the airing of the mini-series Lonesome Dove. We had to set the VCR to record the series for Dad. He wasn’t the most technology inclined. We actually recorded a lot of things, but that series really stands out…and recording WWF wrestling. Crazy, I don’t think my kids have ever watched a VHS tape.

As a reminder, Lunch Box Quotes are notes I include in the kids’ lunches every day. Number 1 gets a text, but 2-4 get handwritten napkins. Today, I am going to have to solicit some help from the wife as she will be writing my notes for the next little while. I can publish, but require a little help on that end.
