The three youngest spent the weekend at church camp. I think they finally got their voices back, and Number 2 is preparing to share his testimony. I don’t think I would have been brave enough, or in the right place spiritually, to do something like that at 16. Heck, I have completely fallen off the fasting wagon this Lent. It is not that I am just breaking my fast by eating, I am sort of anti-fasting (if there is an opposite), where I am not only comfort eating but those portions… So far this Lent, I have been doing my prayer sessions at night, and that is clearly not working. I am going to have to change things up, but at least I can look to littles for inspiration.
As a reminder, Lunch Box Quotes are notes I include in the kids’ lunches every day. Number 1 gets a text, but 2-4 get handwritten napkins. Today, I am going to have to solicit some help from the wife as she will be writing my notes for the next little while. I can publish, but require a little help on that end. All texts today…my time management is also slipping.
