We are back! Back to posting, after a short derailment from a snowstorm and work, but more importantly, back home with the family. Overall, not a bad work trip, almost got a chance to see history. There is a lot going on in the world, but for today, for here, I am going to stay close. Last night, Number 2 had his first Varsity Lacrosse game of the season, and it was a banger! The Topsail Boys beat Cardinal Gibbons 11-5. This is a huge statement win for the boys as Gibbons is the reigning State Champion. Honestly, going in, I was optimistic we could keep it close, but I was not expecting a win, let alone a decisive one. Tonight, it is off to New Bern for both Number 2 and 3, where the Varsity boys and girls will square off against the Bears. Let’s keep it rolling!
As a reminder, Lunch Box Quotes are notes I include in the kids’ lunches every day. Number 1 gets a text, but 2-4 get handwritten napkins.
