A little out of whack today. School was moved online because of incoming storms, so the littles, which are not actually that little, are all here. The big news from the weekend is that the Varsity Boys beat Middle Creek, a top 5 team in the state! The final score was 7-5. It was a hard-fought game, and victory was quite glorious. To recap, they have beaten Cardinal Gibbons and Middle Creek, both of which routinely finish near the top in the state. If other teams haven’t already noticed, they are now. This team is legit. As for the girls, the weekend was not so kind. Tough losses for both 3 and 4. They did show growth, and I can see glimmers of a bright future just under the surface. Keep plugging, there are victories ahead!
As a reminder, Lunch Box Quotes are notes I include in the kids’ lunches every day. Number 1 gets a text, but 2-4 get handwritten napkins. But not today! School has been moved online, so I get to hand-deliver them… or just send them all digitally, which is what I am going to do.
