After almost a month off with countless home projects, visitors in town, a surprise travel lacrosse trip, dog sitting for a pup that has a motor unlike any other, and a 50th birthday, it’s good to be back sitting in this chair. For this introduction, I don’t really know where to start other than this weekend, the wife and I were able to ride the really lazy river in our pool for the first time this year. The really lazy river, by the way, is just floating and letting the jet push us around the pool. No swimming, no kicking, just a slow ride with no immediate worries. It was nice. Number 1 is back at school, 2 is still working, 3 is babysitting, and 4 is helping at church camp.
Typically, Lunch Box Quotes are notes I include in the kids’ lunches every day. Number 1 gets a text, and 2-4 get handwritten napkins, but for the Summer Edition, we will be searching for consistency and hopefully a routine. Today, a note for Number 2 and texts for the others.
