“Angels carry swords…” Ever since I was a child, the imagery of angels carrying swords has been there, but I have never really given it much thought. I suppose I thought of it as more of an ancient spiritual battle waged during Old Testament times. As an adult, I am not sure when I last really thought about angels. However, I do believe that a spiritual battle is still being waged, whether we are paying attention or not. And for that fact, it gives me comfort that angels carry swords… I wonder how they use them?
