Kaplan manages to find the positives of our relative geographical isolation in: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.economist.com\/by-invitation\/2021\/08\/23\/robert-d-kaplan-on-why-america-can-recover-from-failures-like-afghanistan-and-iraq\">Robert D. Kaplan on why America can recover from failures like Afghanistan and Iraq&nbsp; <\/a>from the Economist. Kaplan\u2019s Revenge of Geography should be mandatory reading by the way.
