Lunch Box Quotes – Summer Edition

Lunch Box Quotes – Summer Edition

This is so much harder without my regular X account. Not too many of these summer editions left.

Day 3: We Are One Body

1 Corinthians 12:12, 26-27 (ESV) – “For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. … If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together. Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.”

No believer is self-sufficient. God designed the church as interdependent members of one body. Our gifts, weaknesses, joys, and pains affect the whole. Community thrives when we value every part and respond with empathy and mutual care.

Reflection/Application: Identify one way your gifts can serve the body and one area where you need to receive help from others. Act on both.

Prayer: Dear Lord, give me the courage to believe that I can contribute to the body of believers, the empathy to share in the joy and sorrow of others, and the humility to continually put You first. Let me not be an individual but an active part in the body of believers. In Your name I pray. Amen.

Typically, Lunch Box Quotes are notes I include in the kids’ lunches every day. Number 1 gets a text, and 2-4 get handwritten napkins, but for the Summer Edition, there has been no routine, so today, texts for all.
