I do believe that baby groundhogs are one of the cutest animals in the world. In my opinion, they are right there with baby goats. I was driving by one today, slow rolling, maybe just a couple miles an hour, and one was eating on the side of the road with his back toward me as I approached. When I got right beside him, he quickly turned, stood on his back feet with his arms spread wide, and let out a little squeak of a roar like he was going to fight. Apparently, the bravery of a baby groundhog has less than a two-second time limit, and he quickly scurried away. Punxsutawney had nothing on this one. It’s the little things…
