Today marks one week since Number 2 started his internship. Yesterday, someone riding a dirt bike at the job site wrecked and broke their arm. Honestly, we didn’t talk long enough for me to figure out why someone was riding a dirt bike at the job site, but those are just details…probably not important. He was the first on scene to take care of it. Not exactly what he expected out of the day, but I’m proud of him. Not only for taking care of the dude but for this whole week in general. He loves it and apparently (not that I had any doubts) is good at it. He was also willing to get into an argument with a guy who said he couldn’t turn his truck around and with some impatient folks who were honking at elderly people. Never a dull moment; I think he is going to be just fine. Oh, and he has senior pictures today. How did we get here?
Typically, Lunch Box Quotes are notes I include in the kids’ lunches every day. Number 1 gets a text, and 2-4 get handwritten napkins, but for the Summer Edition, we will be searching for consistency and hopefully a routine. Once again, today, all texts.
